Using the Milwaukee C65 EC Tester

The C65 Milwaukee is an extremely useful waterproof EC meter for hydroponics, simple and quick to use. It allows you to have a perfect measurement of conductivity, offering the certainty that the right nourishment always reaches the plants.

The Milwaukee EC tester is sold already calibrated by the company , but in case you need a specific calibration it is possible to immerse it in the calibration solution and adjust the screw dimmer (screwdriver included) placed on the back of the instrument, and scroll up to when not reading the correct value.

To use, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the protective cap;
2. Press the ON button to turn on the instrument;
3. Immerse the instrument in the sample to be measured;
4. Shake and wait a couple of seconds for the reading to stabilize;
5. Press the OFF button to turn off the instrument;
6. After use, rinse the electrode with water to minimize contamination.

It is important to verify that the EC meter has been previously calibrated. Never use distilled or deionized water.
