Atami Wilma 4 hydroponic system

The Atami WILMA 4 drip hydroponic system is a classic top-drip recirculating system. The nutrient solution is sucked by the immersion pump, which is located in the tank, and distributed with drippers to all the pots, the solution draining through the pot returns to the tank. The advantages of the Atami Wilma 4 hydroponic system greater absorption of water and nutrients thanks to frequent feeding; the roots do not originate from the capillary work of the growing substrate; free runoff from the soil of the roots precludes accumulation of nutrients or flooding. It can be used both as an irrigation system with a tank to collect the runoff and as a fully recirculating hydroponic system.

Operation of the hydroponic system

In the Wilma 4 hydroponic system the pots are placed on a tray placed above a tank which contains the nutrient solution inside. The crops and drippers are placed in pots with the growing substrate which can be composed of different materials such as: clay, coconut, earth or rock wool. The drippers can automatically feed your crops if the irrigation frequency is set with a timer. The nutrient solution passes through the substrate and over the roots of your crops, circulating oxygen in the root zone. Drip hydroponic systems, combined with a great level of innovation, bring with them several advantages such as an improvement in general yield, a reduction in pests and diseases, an increase in production and a very light weight of the entire system of cultivation. This irrigation system consequently makes manual watering unnecessary.
