Details
Choose a Wilma drip irrigation system and experience the flexibility of pot growing with the benefits of active hydroponics: accurate nutrition and greater yield. Wilma is an active hydroponic version of a drip irrigation system. Your plants will benefit from the accurate nutrition of active hydroponics combined with the flexibility of pot growing.
The pots rest on a tray placed above a tank containing the nutrient solution. The plants and drippers are placed in pots with the chosen growing medium: clay, coconut, soil or rock wool. By setting the watering frequency with a timer, the drippers will automatically feed your plants.
Active hydroponic system also called drip system
This active hydroponic system, also known as drip, allows the nutrient solution to flow through the substrate and over the roots of your plants, flowing into the collection tank and conveying oxygen to the root area. The Wilma system offers you the flexibility to be used both as an irrigation system with a runoff collection tank and as a fully recirculating hydroponic system.
Why does the Wilma system produce fantastic results?
Frequent feeding results in increased absorption of water and nutrients. With active hydroponics the roots do not depend on the capillary action of the growing medium. Free flow from the root zone prevents nutrient buildup or flooding.
