How to use natural snails repellent?

Rock dust is a very effective product to combat snails. Being 100% natural and organic it is also harmless.

To make the most of this product, it is recommended to use rock dust as an anti-snail, mixing it with at least 500 L of water for each treatment . In case of combination with copper sulphate and sulphur, it is advisable to reduce the dosage by 25%.

In cold periods and, in general, during winter, it is recommended to use rock dust with treatments of 7-9 kg per hectare . In the case of vegetative treatments, an administration of the powder with a quantity of 3-6 kg per hectare or 300-600 g for every 100 liters of water is fine.

For an effective application :

1. Use the formulation during the entire vegetative cycle of the plants, in spring, in autumn, or after heavy rainfall;
2. Repeat the treatment every month, increasing the frequency to every 15 days in case of heavy rain or abundant irrigation;
3. Spread the product around the perimeter of the plant or area to be protected, forming a strip 2-3 cm wide with an adequate height to maximize the mechanical effect.
