Why grow with a grow led
Grow LEDs for cultivation release very little heat. The temperature inside a grow box can be kept under control more easily. In colder growing periods or locations, where you usually rely on the heat emitted by HPS lamps, with grow LEDs you may need an additional heat source. Furthermore, LED cultivation will significantly reduce electricity costs and will be able to compensate for the consumption of any additional heating system.
How close can the lamp be placed to the plants? this point is directly connected to the previous one. In fact, cultivation LEDs emit so little heat that they can be placed a short distance from the tops of the plants. In this way the intensity of the light is increased, optimizing the spectrum and lumens emitted by the growings LEDs. However, it must always be considered that any type of light must respect a certain balance between light intensity and coverage area, the latter due precisely to the cone of light it manages to create.
