The grow rooms are cabinets suitably used to be able to cultivate, they are formed by a structure in metal tubes covered with a canvas, which in addition to being waterproof and heat resistant, in its internal part is equipped with reflective material for a better distribution of the light.
There are various quality and price ranges of grow rooms from professional to economic. The latter have the thickness of the very thin lining fabric and do not have double stitching on the zips. The internal reflective material of these grow rooms is mylar but not at its most reflective.
Professional grow rooms have a very robust and thick cover canvas, the opening zips are reinforced, the seams are double to prevent tears, the reflective mylar up to 600D, gives maximum reflection for better light efficiency and therefore an increase in the harvest the final.
This grow box cabinet for indoor cultivation is equipped with crossbars for hanging lamps, extractors and filters, as well as ventilation ducts and a cable hole, useful for correct assembly of fixture accessories.
Room to grow
To properly choose the room to grow your growing the first element to check is the quality of the refractive coefficient, the acronym 210d, 300d or 600d determines precisely how much of light the walls of the cultivation box reflect.
When buying a wardrobe, always look for this symbol to check what you are buying, in fact there are various models of growrooms, from the cheapest to the professional ones.
The first thing to choose is where to place the grow room and there are 2 basic requirements that the grow room or the environment in which cultivation takes place must possess:
1) Presence of an air escape route and a source of renewal. The air continuously emitted by the extractor must be expelled into an external environment from the one in which the grow room is located.
Therefore, it is convenient that the cultivation cabinet is located in the immediate of a window or an air escape route (hoods, fireplaces, pre-existing ducts, roller shutter boxes).
Plants consume air, water and light proportionally to carry out photosynthesis therefore it is necessary to make sure that the extracted air does not enter the grow room otherwise we will put a brake on the growth of the plant due to the absence of air.
2) Minimum height of the grow space. The height of the growroom can have variable dimensions, however the minimum height to comfortably install the equipment is approximately 150cm.
In fact, inside a grow room the minimum vertical space occupied by the equipment is around 60-80cm depending on the type of light source used, the height of the pots and the safety distance from the light source from the apicals of the plant. The remaining 80-100cm will be useful for growing plants.
Obviously, there are growrooms even lower than a meter and a half, but with a significant reduction in the performance of the installed components, an exacerbation of climatic variables and consequently a reduction in final production.
Why buy a cannabis grow room
Not always having a self-built growing room can be advantageous both in economic terms, given the price of wood and the various materials, but above all for the speed and practicality of assembly and disassembly (about 15 minutes) of conventional cannabis grow rooms. Purchasing a grow room necessarily requires an investigation phase and we at Gsi are here to offer it to you.
