Odor filter for flawless air filtration

The Max Carbon 100mm - 160m3/h activated carbon filter is undoubtedly the anti-odour filter with the best quality/price ratio. Connected to the air inlet side of your aspirator, it filters the exhaust air of the grow room, eliminating the unpleasant or too intense smells of your home cultivation, up to a maximum flow rate of 160MC/H. It is easily installed on all air extractors.

Characteristics of activated carbon filters

  • Better quality activated carbons and greater surface area exposed to the air
  • More homogeneous compaction of activated carbon grains
  • 100% odor elimination in environments with humidity below 70%
  • Durability up to 4 full crops (12-14 months)
  • Ventilation line noise reduction
  • Additional pre-filter cloth supplied
  • Adjustable straps for suspension

The treatment and cleaning of the cultivation air odors

In indoor cultivation, each step is essential to take care of the development of our plant down to the smallest detail. From the germination phase to the flowering phase, therefore, the grower must be in possession of all the necessary knowledge so as not to ruin the crop, using all the recommended tools and products.
In this context, air treatment takes on a more important aspect: fans are essential tools for air recirculation and to prevent the plant itself from being at risk of burns. In particular, in indoor cultivation, when lamps are used (to be chosen according to the stage of the plant) the temperature can overheat excessively and therefore the aspirators come into play to avoid burns in the cultivation. For the same theme, fans have the function of avoiding air stagnation and the formation of mould.

From all these considerations, we can deduce the importance of treating the air through the use of special tools that allow the plant to grow healthily, thus preparing for an abundant and rigorous harvest. It is therefore no coincidence that the activated carbon filter is suggested as one of the first accessories for indoor cultivation when buying cultivation kits for grow boxes and grow rooms.

Filogreen suggests not using the max carbon filter 100mm - 160m3/h with vacuum cleaners with a flow rate higher than 160MC/H in order to keep the anti-odour filter efficient and durable. Also note that it cannot be used with short axis axial fans such as the VK0 100mm axial fan
