Watering Depending on the size of the pot (and other environmental factors), fast-growing adult plants require from 4 to 6 liters of nutrient solution per day for every square meter (m2). For larger plants it is recommended to use pots of at least 5 litres: the size of the pots is directly proportional to the qualitative continuity of the rhizosphere. Make sure you provide the plant with sufficient drainage: possibly add a layer of expanded clay to the bottom of the pot for optimal drainage and air exchange.
